The day that she can be free
And hopefully escape reality
Feeling like a bird trapped in a cage
With so many things hapening in life

Going into a magical place of her own
Filled with hapiness and peace
When there is darkness she finds the light
So corageous and bold with a big heart
But good things also come to an end

For the world of her own
That magical place
Can't help her escape the reality
The reality of growning up

Even if she grows up
And never enters the magical closet again
All thoes memories
With her friends and family
Would last forever

1a) dehumanization is not caring about the wellbeing of a person. It can relate to something that’s inhumane. One example is the ways that the guards treat the Jews.

1b) when they were still living their normal life they still had so much faith. Believing that you must always trust in God. After they arrived at the camp they had the fear of the unknown. Not knowing what will happen in the future and not knowing what will happen to their families. There were some who still believed that they will get out and something good will happen.

1c) Eliezer being at the camp he is starting to change and see what is happening in reality. Eliezer is starting to lose his faith in God like some people. Asking why is happening.

Before the Jewish people got to Auschwitz, they thought that being deported was a good thing because they thought that they were going to be safe. On page 18 someone said “who knows? Perhaps we are being deported for our own good. The front isn’t very far off; we shall soon be able to hear the guns. And the civilian population would be evacuated anyway….” Another person on the train said “if you ask me, the whole business of deportation is just farce. Oh yes, don’t laugh. The boches just want to steal our jewelry. The know we’ve buried everything, and they’ll have to hunt for it: it’s easier when the owners are on a holiday….” On the train the probably said that to lighten up the mood and possibly said why they are being moved.

The Holocaust was a very heartbreaking and tragic story about the mass murder of Jews. This murder was brought about by the Nazis during World War II. The Holocaust was a process that occurred in carefully organized stages. It first began with laws that required the Jewish to be removed from the rest of society. These laws forced Jews into filthy areas in the city, used as concentration camps. Because of their race, they were stripped from their homes, their friends, and their families. These people were not even given a choice if they wanted to leave or not. The Nazis also forced the Jews into slave labor. They had to do work at these concentration camps. Some of these people weren’t even physically capable of doing labor. They later died of disease, starvation, and exhaustion. The Nazis continued to take over different areas in Europe and set up more concentration camps. Death squads began executing Jews in mass shootings and burying them in mass graves throughout the continent. In the end, approximately six million Jews were murdered. The Holocaust was brought about by a German man named Adolph Hitler. He had an interest for art. After getting rejected multiple times by an art insititute, he found a great interest in German nationalism. He started to cultivate anti -semitism. He applied for German Government where he got accepted in 1914. He started the Holocaust because he thought Jewish people were filthy. His acts of the Holocaust were very inhumane. He sacrificed many peoples' lives just to feel like he had power over people.

Angry Letter (draft) ~ Kambingan Resturant

dear manager at Kambingan Restaurant,

i would like to inform you about my experience eating at your restaurant.  I go to music lessons at Chuck James Music Studio on the second floor of the Westgate Plaza. Since my lessons are after lunch my family decided that we should eat at your restaurant since they love eating Filipino food. It took us a while to find a place to sit since it was really crowded and when we were seated their was dirty plates of the last people who ate here on the table. My parents love the atmosphere of the restaurant but for me it was a bit too much. The place seem dirty seeing mud and dirt on the ground and lots of dust and i have lots of allergies which makes it hard for me to breathe. we were waiting a long time for our waiter and took a long time to receive our food. Pancit was delicous but the rest of the food i was skeptical on trying. when i was eating the Palabok i saw a black bug hidden inside after that i just ate dinuguan after.  I think that the resturant could be cleaner and have better service. I hope you take this into consideration and Thankyou for listening.
