Angry Letter (draft) ~ Kambingan Resturant

dear manager at Kambingan Restaurant,

i would like to inform you about my experience eating at your restaurant.  I go to music lessons at Chuck James Music Studio on the second floor of the Westgate Plaza. Since my lessons are after lunch my family decided that we should eat at your restaurant since they love eating Filipino food. It took us a while to find a place to sit since it was really crowded and when we were seated their was dirty plates of the last people who ate here on the table. My parents love the atmosphere of the restaurant but for me it was a bit too much. The place seem dirty seeing mud and dirt on the ground and lots of dust and i have lots of allergies which makes it hard for me to breathe. we were waiting a long time for our waiter and took a long time to receive our food. Pancit was delicous but the rest of the food i was skeptical on trying. when i was eating the Palabok i saw a black bug hidden inside after that i just ate dinuguan after.  I think that the resturant could be cleaner and have better service. Risky Buiness (draft)

          Teen Anxiety is also know as having stress. It can be a good thing because I can help you deal with a tight situation but can be dangerous if people don't know how to handle it. Anxiety can being nervous to go to school or being anxious of making new friends. it is sometime caused by the lack of assurance and parents  not being a good influence or feeling the expectations are too high to reach. The reason why teen Anxiety is a risky business for teens is because it can have big impact on their lives.

          Teens will fill it from time to time because it is natural.  They can feel sick and have symptoms like rapid heart rate, sweating, headaches, sweating, and trembling. If some has a panic attack its uncomfortable but it is not dangerous of life threating or dangerous. there is the ABC's for anxiety : physically - what we feel in our body; mentally - what goes through our mind like worrisome thoughts; behaviorally - what we do or our actions, such as avoid or seek-reassurance. A way to avoid it is by forming a habit and having patience with your child. The important thing is to encourage them and help them face their fears. Parents cant always give them the attention they need but the important thing if s being a good role model. for Example: If the parents drink and smoke and the child watches them he can be influenced to do it in the future.           Parents are the most influential person in a child's life and can have a big impact. some parents don't know but Teen's don't really tell their parents anything. It is sometimes hard to trust teens as much as trusting your parents. This can be serious if they are depressed and they don't tell an adult. Anxiety can be serious because it can be like your child refusing to eat or go to school. All parents have expectations for their children which is important but sometimes I can be a little too much for some kids to handle. For example if that child has a older sibling and does great in school and is an athlete, the parents would compare them to the sibling but I depends on how their parents are like.           A Food that's sweet and comforting in the inside but have a unique and surprising inside. you never know what's inside unless you take a bite or get to know that person really well. I'm just like that truffle that is sweet, but has a surprising twist and lots of flavor in the inside. I love to play music and do art because express how I feel and it gives me a better understanding of who I am. This is the biggest question I have asked myself and for some people this is a hard question because they don't think about it or deny what traits and characteristics they have as a person. If there was one trait that could describe me is optimistic because if I fail at something I pick my self up and try to better, I never think about the negativity in life because it is short and we should live it having happiness. Being a Graphic Designer is what I strive to become because I enjoy working with technology as well as making art to show how you feel or the message you want to give out to the public. the biggest thing a person can have is a voice, to express what people don't know about you or something in your mind that you want to share. 

          One of my favorite movies is Freedom Writers which about these kids who have a hard life and struggle to stay in school and graduate. The teacher who is new gives them this journal and tells them to write anything in it. the reason why she did this is because she wants to get to know her class personally through reading their journals. This kind of inspired me to start drawing and writing music. Sometime i would stare at a blank page for awhile for i even think about something to draw. When i get the inspiration and start but stop when all is lost. One day it was really rainy and i was flipping through the channels when i see this MTV special about this girl named innocente. Yes, I love watching MTV because it can be really dumb but some videos have a different meaning to it. So innocente is this girl who came to america as a illegal immigrant and she had a talent for doing art. Living in a Ghetto was hard and with her struggles she becomes inspired to paint and ends up going to this art school and having her own gallery with all her art. I believe that to accomplish my dreams i need to work hard and never stop trying. I made a poem in 8th grade called life is like a mountain because it really is like one. We would never win always and we would have our ups and downs but the important thing is to move on. obstacles may get in our path like a big boulder or a fallen tree but we'll eventually find a way to get around it. 

          With the quality of our work comes time management. Time management is important in High School because of all the homework and presentation you may have. You can tell if my work isn't the best quality because i rushed. An example of it would be like my handwriting, i mostly write in script or cursive because it's easier for me to write. In Japan their technology is advanced having the latest technology. some of it are like Holograms, flying cars, and human-like robots that can feel and respond. One of  the challenges Is finding Jobs overseas like Japan because of the global competition that we have. People are studying past high school and collage to get higher degrees and more experience. One thing that i was interested in is doing the exchange program because it will help me have  better understanding of someone's culture, like when i was in japan. with all the advancements in technology more people want to work in the industry with technology. 

          When I was applying for High School it was the toughest decision I had to make. essays, filling up teachers recommendations, and studying for my SSAT. I felt like I was  applying to collage drinking sodas and cups of coffee, but would  out of all the schools I Choose Moanalua. For my friends it was a weird decision because I got accepted to some private schools, but making a big decision that I felt was the best I ever made. MeneMac is a media  program that is one of the best in the state. We work hard and Stay up working on projects and pays off when we win local competitions like Oleo and HMSA. I joined the program because It help me have more knowledge of the technology we have today. Joining Cal Arts would  be a big opportunity to help me learn more advance stuff to build on the knowledge I already have about technology. I learn that there is more to art because it has it's own unique flavor like a truffle.

          My Dad was in the Navy and had this shipmate that now has his own business as a graphic designer after he retired. I inspired me more to become a graphic designer because it shows how hard work can pay off. The biggest thing for me is having a perspective on how I draw write and design because it gives me the inspiration I need. My goals would be to study and Major in Graphics, get my Bachelors and Maters so I can have the experience to have my own business. I love to do things that are not that structured and hands on because I love to be creative and not have to think about doing paperwork because I don't like sitting a desk the whole time during class. Mostly it's about worrying about the past, focusing on present working Hard, and looking to the future. Life is really short and we should make the best of, for me and my best friend who's now a senior, 2 years is really short but it felt like we known each other for a longtime. Taking photography with picture is a hobby I like to take nice pictures with my friends after school and hopefully get on the yearbook because life is short and time goes by really fast. Even if not everything will last, it's that memory that will always last with you forever.

Right now in High School I'm in FCA which is a fellowship of Christian Athletes and we were talking about how we can make right decisions on taking criticism. I honestly sometimes don't criticism that well sometimes but I learned a big lesson when I went to one of our meetings on Friday. One thing I learned was when you received criticism it is hard to accept sometimes, but we should learn from it and move on. Being a student means we are always learning something new each day and also having a job it's the same way and that's what makes things special. Along with that criticism comes the Expatiations of the costumer and  how we should be professional. For me the important thing is making people happy and being satisfied with my work than being paid and them not being happy. of course we'll have some criticism but we should always be proud of our work because we worked hard in making it.

Babysitting

          It is the first week of June, which means summer is here. I was still asleep on my bed dreaming until the heat from the rays of the sun woke me up. I got up from my bead and gently scratched my eyes. Then I slowly raised my arms up as high as I could and stretch making a nose while doing it. I walked to my closet opening it excitedly and started grabbing clothes and placing it on my bed one bed one by one. When I was finished getting ready and putting on my make-up I rushed down the stair eager to eat. In the kitchen I reached as high as I could to grab a bowl from the top cover, and grabbed a spoon from the drawer next to the sink. Hearing the clinking noise when I place the spoon in the bowl, I grabbed the milk from inside the fridge and placed all of it on the glass table. Then I started to pour the cereal and the milk into the bowl while watching powerpuff girls on TV. While I was eating and watching TV the doorbell rang. I got up from my seat and peaked through the hole in the door. Seeing that the kid was here I opened the door excited for my first day of babysitting.

          After I opened the door I unlocked the screen door and let her in. The mom says “ok, be good and have a nice day” and leaves. I told her to make herself at home and freaks out when she see my brother playing Zelda because that is her favorite game. The girl that I was babysitting goes to the same school as my brother and seem to almost be “bestfriends” with him. “Great, another day of listening to stuff about Naruto and Zelda” I thought to myself. I sat down on the couch and got myself comfortable with my body sinking in to the cushion and the pillow of the couch. It was kind of a typical summer just going on YouTube, making videos, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. Hours of scrolling through weird and funny pictures or videos. Then I hear a CRASH from one of the plates that have been knocked over while they were tossing around my big stuffed Pikachu toy. The plate was from Japan when my Dad was still active duty, and have a red lining with a picture of a Japanese gate in the middle. Thankfully it didn’t break and gently try to place it back. They both ran to the other room and started jumping on the couch pretending that they are Naruto being ninjas.

          I was getting kind of hungry so I went back to the kitchen to make and Oreo shake. First I assembled the blender and grabbed the ice cream, milk, and Oreos. Then I yelled “Rj why is the Oreos not put away properly” and check to see if it is fine. After mixing it I gently poured it into a Coca-Cola glass and made a small drip on the counter and cleaned it. When I was done I went to the living room to find all the pillows on the floor and the two kids missing. I peaked to find them in the garage playing Wii. At around 7:00 I was watching King of the Hill while they were both playing Zelda on the DS. When I heard a voice saying “Hello, is anyone here?” walking to the other side to find that her mom is here. I unlocked the screen door hearing a click sound and she grabbed everything that belonged to her and left leaving nothing left. I went outside to say good bye and waited for them to leave as the lights from the car got smaller and smaller. I felt that this was an important event for me because it taught how to be responsible by taking care of them. Another thing is how to be patient with them even if they might give you a heart attack by making a huge mess.

since our theme is about growing up this year I choose the title just a little seed waiting to blossom. The reason why I choose this title is because we are like a seed. The soil is the foundation that helps us grow and mature. The water and the sun are the stuff that help support us as we grow like our Family and friends. a truffle, with a hard chocolate shell on the outside

i'm very unique and have my own special flavors

different creamy fruit fillings and caramel
