          A Food that's sweet and comforting in the inside but have a unique and surprising inside. you never know what's inside unless you take a bite or get to know that person really well. I'm just like that truffle that is sweet, but has a surprising twist and lots of flavor in the inside. I love to play music and do art because express how I feel and it gives me a better understanding of who I am. This is the biggest question I have asked myself and for some people this is a hard question because they don't think about it or deny what traits and characteristics they have as a person. If there was one trait that could describe me is optimistic because if I fail at something I pick my self up and try to better, I never think about the negativity in life because it is short and we should live it having happiness. Being a Graphic Designer is what I strive to become because I enjoy working with technology as well as making art to show how you feel or the message you want to give out to the public. the biggest thing a person can have is a voice, to express what people don't know about you or something in your mind that you want to share. 

          One of my favorite movies is Freedom Writers which about these kids who have a hard life and struggle to stay in school and graduate. The teacher who is new gives them this journal and tells them to write anything in it. the reason why she did this is because she wants to get to know her class personally through reading their journals. This kind of inspired me to start drawing and writing music. Sometime i would stare at a blank page for awhile for i even think about something to draw. When i get the inspiration and start but stop when all is lost. One day it was really rainy and i was flipping through the channels when i see this MTV special about this girl named innocente. Yes, I love watching MTV because it can be really dumb but some videos have a different meaning to it. So innocente is this girl who came to america as a illegal immigrant and she had a talent for doing art. Living in a Ghetto was hard and with her struggles she becomes inspired to paint and ends up going to this art school and having her own gallery with all her art. I believe that to accomplish my dreams i need to work hard and never stop trying. I made a poem in 8th grade called life is like a mountain because it really is like one. We would never win always and we would have our ups and downs but the important thing is to move on. obstacles may get in our path like a big boulder or a fallen tree but we'll eventually find a way to get around it. 

          With the quality of our work comes time management. Time management is important in High School because of all the homework and presentation you may have. You can tell if my work isn't the best quality because i rushed. An example of it would be like my handwriting, i mostly write in script or cursive because it's easier for me to write. In Japan their technology is advanced having the latest technology. some of it are like Holograms, flying cars, and human-like robots that can feel and respond. One of  the challenges Is finding Jobs overseas like Japan because of the global competition that we have. People are studying past high school and collage to get higher degrees and more experience. One thing that i was interested in is doing the exchange program because it will help me have  better understanding of someone's culture, like when i was in japan. with all the advancements in technology more people want to work in the industry with technology. 

          When I was applying for High School it was the toughest decision I had to make. essays, filling up teachers recommendations, and studying for my SSAT. I felt like I was  applying to collage drinking sodas and cups of coffee, but would  out of all the schools I Choose Moanalua. For my friends it was a weird decision because I got accepted to some private schools, but making a big decision that I felt was the best I ever made. MeneMac is a media  program that is one of the best in the state. We work hard and Stay up working on projects and pays off when we win local competitions like Oleo and HMSA. I joined the program because It help me have more knowledge of the technology we have today. Joining Cal Arts would  be a big opportunity to help me learn more advance stuff to build on the knowledge I already have about technology. I learn that there is more to art because it has it's own unique flavor like a truffle.

          My Dad was in the Navy and had this shipmate that now has his own business as a graphic designer after he retired. I inspired me more to become a graphic designer because it shows how hard work can pay off. The biggest thing for me is having a perspective on how I draw write and design because it gives me the inspiration I need. My goals would be to study and Major in Graphics, get my Bachelors and Maters so I can have the experience to have my own business. I love to do things that are not that structured and hands on because I love to be creative and not have to think about doing paperwork because I don't like sitting a desk the whole time during class. Mostly it's about worrying about the past, focusing on present working Hard, and looking to the future. Life is really short and we should make the best of, for me and my best friend who's now a senior, 2 years is really short but it felt like we known each other for a longtime. Taking photography with picture is a hobby I like to take nice pictures with my friends after school and hopefully get on the yearbook because life is short and time goes by really fast. Even if not everything will last, it's that memory that will always last with you forever.

I love to because express how I feel through music and Arts because it gives me a better understanding of who I am. This is the biggest question I have asked myself and for some people this is a hard question because they don't think about it or deny what traits and characteristics they have as a person.           What pushed me to become a graphic designer is was watching Japanese Anime and seeing all the big billboards and signs with different adds growing up in Japan. People were always on the go eating delicious street food that you can always find at their plazas, malls, and festivals. One thing was how advance their technology was and how they always seem to keep up with the latest trends. For Graphic Designers this a could be a problem because people always want to stay on top with the latest trends like phones, fashion, books, and social networking. Right now in High School I'm in FCA which is a fellowship of Christian Athletes and we were talking about how we can make right decisions on taking criticism. I honestly sometimes don't criticism that well sometimes but I learned a big lesson when I went to one of our meetings on Friday. One thing I learned was when you received criticism it is hard to accept sometimes, but we should learn from it and move on. Being a student means we are always learning something new each day and also having a job it's the same way and that's what makes things special. Along with that criticism comes the Expatiations of the costumer and  how we should be professional. For me the important thing is making people happy and being satisfied with my work than being paid and them not being happy. of course we'll have some criticism but we should always be proud of our work because we worked hard in making it.

Where my parents come from influence how is like at home like what we eat. Another thing is my moral Catholic values like blessing someone's hand when you come from church. When my parents have a chance they would bring me to the Philippines to meet my family and see how it's like there.
